The "Data Mining for Cybersecurity" course covers essential concepts in cybersecurity, including data mining techniques, network and data monitoring, information security, malware detection, network and host intrusion detection, phishing, web security, social network security, DNS traffic analysis, mouse behaviour data mining, and anomaly detection. Students will learn how to analyse large datasets, monitor network traffic, detect and combat malware, protect against intrusions, mitigate phishing attacks, secure web environments, analyse DNS traffic, detect anomalies, and enhance overall cybersecurity.
