This course provides a systematic framework for monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating international standards and emerging technologies in strategic technology domains, including telecommunications, automotive systems, and video coding. Particular emphasis is placed on identifying and assessing technologies with potential for integration into future products and systems in response to evolving global technological needs and market demands.

The course further addresses strategic technology foresight, technology ownership, and intellectual property management, with a focus on identifying opportunities for technology acquisition, development, and exploitation. Strategies and roadmaps for intellectual property protection, licensing, technology ownership, and the commercialization of emerging technologies will also be examined.
